ARC Ratings, S.A. is a European-based international credit rating agency registered with the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) since 2015. It was established as a consortium of five national rating agencies from Portugal, Brazil, India, Malaysia, and South Africa. The company's mission is to offer a credible alternative to the major rating agencies by providing diverse, multijurisdictional, and forward-looking credit risk analysis for a wide range of entities, including corporates, financial institutions, and structured finance instruments.
