The Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) is an independent trust agency of the Government of Ontario, Canada, established in 1915. It is responsible for administering a no-fault collective liability insurance system for employers and workers across the province. Funded entirely by employer premiums, the WSIB's mission is to promote workplace health and safety, support workers in their recovery and return to work, and maintain a sustainable, responsible compensation system for the people of Ontario.
