Established in 1994, ICIEC is a multilateral institution created to strengthen the economic relations between member countries of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). Its mission is to facilitate trade and investment between its member countries and the world by providing Shariah-compliant risk mitigation and credit enhancement solutions. The corporation offers a range of services including export credit insurance, investment insurance against political risks, and reinsurance for national export credit agencies in member countries.
