The company developed the IBAN-Name Check service, which verifies that the name of a payee matches the name associated with a given bank account number (IBAN) before a payment is executed. This service significantly reduces payment fraud (such as invoice fraud) and misdirected payments. Now operating as an independent company, SurePay provides its verification solutions to over 100 banks and numerous organizations across Europe, processing billions of checks annually to enhance the security of the payments ecosystem.
