Founded in 1999 by the financial sector itself, Stichting DSI (Dutch Securities Institute) is a non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening and maintaining public trust in the financial industry. Its mission is to ensure that financial professionals are knowledgeable, skilled, and act with integrity. DSI achieves this through a comprehensive system of screening, certification, continuing education, and a public register of certified professionals. It also provides an independent disciplinary system to handle complaints and enforce its code of conduct, thereby promoting a safe and ethical investment environment in the Netherlands.
