Sparkasse Westholstein is a regionally focused German savings bank operating as an institution under public law ("Anstalt des öffentlichen Rechts"). Its business mission is centered on serving the local community, supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and providing accessible financial services to the general public in its business area. The current institution was formed in 2003 through the merger of the Kreissparkasse Steinburg and the Sparkasse in Dithmarschen.
