Founded in 1984 by Thomas Raffa, Raffa, PC established itself as a premier provider of professional services exclusively for the nonprofit sector. The firm operated under the philosophy of "doing good by doing well," offering a comprehensive suite of services including accounting, auditing, tax compliance, technology consulting, and human resources support. In October 2018, Raffa, PC was acquired by Marcum LLP, a national accounting and advisory firm. The Raffa team was integrated into Marcum, forming the core of its national Nonprofit & Social Sector Group, and continues to serve its specialized client base under the Marcum brand.
