Originally the Australian arm of the US-based fintech OnDeck (ODC), OnDeck Australia was established to provide alternative financing solutions to small businesses. The company leverages technology and data analytics to assess creditworthiness and provide rapid funding decisions, often within the same business day. In 2021, OnDeck Australia was acquired by the Australian credit and payments platform provider, Shift. In February 2024, the service was officially rebranded and now operates as "On Business Loans", a trading name of Shift.
