Founded in the 1990s, Northstar Financial Services (Bermuda) Ltd. operated as an offshore asset management and insurance company based in Bermuda. It specialized in providing fixed-rate and variable-rate annuity products and investment plans to international clients, with a significant number of investors from the United States, Latin America, and Asia. The company was acquired in 2018 by Greg Lindberg. In 2020, following legal and financial troubles involving its owner and an inability to meet its obligations to policyholders, the company collapsed. The Supreme Court of Bermuda placed it into liquidation, and it is currently being wound down by court-appointed liquidators from KPMG.
