Originally founded in 1952 as the company health insurance fund BKK Mobil Oil, Mobil Krankenkasse has grown to become one of Germany's largest statutory health insurers. As a public law corporation (Körperschaft des öffentlichen Rechts), its mission is to provide comprehensive health coverage with a focus on strong customer service, numerous additional benefits beyond the legal standard, and a wide range of preventive health programs for its insured members across Germany.
