Founded in 1998 by World Vision International, Kamurj UCO was one of the first microfinance organizations in Armenia. It was officially licensed by the Central Bank of Armenia in 2002. The company's mission is to foster economic development and poverty reduction in Armenia by providing accessible and affordable financial services. Its primary focus is on lending to micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), as well as offering consumer, agricultural, and mortgage loans to low and middle-income families.
