First Community Mortgage, Inc. was a full-service residential mortgage lender founded in 2002 and headquartered in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. The company provided a wide range of home loan products, including conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA loans, serving customers across much of the United States. Known for its focus on community and customer service, the company grew to have hundreds of employees and numerous branch locations. In January 2023, First Community Mortgage was acquired by The Mortgage Firm, Inc. Shortly thereafter, in July 2023, The Mortgage Firm ceased operations and filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, effectively ending the operations of the former First Community Mortgage brand.
