DFCU Group, officially DFCU Limited, was established in 1964 as the Development Finance Company of Uganda. Initially focused on providing long-term financing and promoting economic development, it has since evolved into a prominent financial institution. Its primary subsidiary, DFCU Bank, is a universal bank offering a wide range of services including retail banking, corporate banking, treasury services, and development finance to individuals, SMEs, and large corporations. DFCU Limited is the parent holding company and is publicly traded on the Uganda Securities Exchange.
