DB Private and Corporate Banking AG
Information by Research Trustfinance
Originally established in 2018 through the merger of Deutsche Bank's private and commercial banking business with Deutsche Postbank AG, the "Deutsche Bank Privat- und Firmenkundenbank AG" was one of Germany's largest banks. It aimed to be the market leader in Germany by combining the strengths of Deutsche Bank's advisory-focused model with Postbank's extensive retail network. The bank served over 20 million clients, offering a full suite of services from current accounts and lending to wealth management and corporate financing. In May 2020, to simplify its group structure and reduce complexity, Deutsche Bank AG fully absorbed this subsidiary. The business continues to operate under the Deutsche Bank brand as the "Private Bank" and "Corporate Bank" divisions.
