Founded in 1988, Caja Municipal de Ahorro y Crédito Huancayo S.A. is a key player in Peru's microfinance sector. As a municipal savings and credit bank, its mission is to promote financial inclusion and economic decentralization by offering accessible savings, credit, and other financial products to entrepreneurs, small businesses, and the general public. Regulated by the Superintendency of Banking, Insurance, and AFPs of Peru (SBS), it has grown from its origins in the city of Huancayo to establish a strong national presence with a network of agencies across the country.
