Founded in 1936 in Birmingham, Alabama, America's First Federal Credit Union (AmFirst) originated to serve the employees of the American Cast Iron Pipe Company (ACIPCO). As a not-for-profit financial cooperative, it is owned and operated by its members. The credit union's mission is to provide its members with high-quality financial services in a friendly, convenient, and professional manner. Today, it has grown to become one of the largest credit unions in Alabama, offering a full suite of personal and business banking products, including savings and checking accounts, loans, mortgages, and investment services.
