Originally registered in 1977 as Isiolo Teachers Sacco Society Ltd, the organization rebranded to Zahara Sacco Society Ltd in 2011 to open its common bond and serve a wider membership base. It is regulated by the Sacco Societies Regulatory Authority (SASRA). The Sacco's mission is to mobilize savings and provide affordable, innovative, and accessible credit and financial services to its members, thereby promoting their economic and social well-being.
