Founded in 1987 by cable television pioneer Bill Daniels, the Young Americans Center for Financial Education is a Denver-based non-profit organization committed to developing the financial literacy of young people. Its mission is to foster a strong and free enterprise system by teaching youth the importance of financial responsibility. The Center offers several immersive, award-winning programs, including Young AmeriTowne®, International Towne®, and YouthBiz®, which provide practical experience in earning, making, and managing money. It is also the home of Young Americans Bank, the world's only state-chartered, FDIC-insured bank designed specifically for individuals under the age of 22.
