Formed in 2014 through the merger of Yadkin Valley Bank and VantageSouth Bank, Yadkin Bank grew to become one of the largest community banks headquartered in North Carolina. It operated as a full-service community bank, offering a comprehensive suite of commercial and consumer banking products, including loans, deposit accounts, mortgages, and wealth management services to individuals and businesses. In March 2017, Yadkin Bank was officially acquired by F.N.B. Corporation of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. All Yadkin Bank branches and operations were subsequently converted and rebranded under the FNB Bank name.
