Xaalys
Information by Research TrustFinance
Founded in 2017 by Diana Brondel, Xaalys was a fintech startup targeting adolescents in France. Its mission was to promote financial literacy among young people by offering a controlled and educational banking experience. The service included a mobile application for both the teenager and their parents, a Mastercard payment card, and features for managing pocket money, setting savings goals, and tracking expenses. Parents could monitor transactions, set spending limits, and instantly transfer money. Despite raising over €3 million in funding, the company faced financial difficulties and was placed into judicial liquidation in February 2021. Its brand and assets were subsequently acquired by its competitor, Vybe.
