Chartered in 1951, WVU Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial institution owned and operated by its members. Its mission is to provide affordable, high-quality financial services and products to the West Virginia University community, including students, faculty, staff, alumni, and their families, as well as residents of several West Virginia counties. As a cooperative, it returns profits to its members through lower loan rates, higher savings dividends, and fewer fees compared to traditional for-profit banks.
