WRVO Public Media is a non-commercial, multi-platform news and information service licensed to the State University of New York (SUNY). Originating from the SUNY Oswego campus in 1969, it has grown into a network of eight stations and multiple translators covering a large portion of New York State. As an affiliate of National Public Radio (NPR), WRVO's mission is to provide in-depth, fact-based journalism, news, and cultural programming to its listeners, supported by member contributions and local business underwriting.
