Established under the Western Australian Treasury Corporation Act 1986, WATC is the central financing authority for the State of Western Australia. Its primary mission is to provide cost-effective and efficient funding and financial services to the Western Australian public sector. WATC achieves this by borrowing funds in domestic and international financial markets and on-lending to its public sector clients, as well as providing a comprehensive range of financial products and advisory services, including investments, foreign exchange, and financial risk management.
