Wells Fargo Insurance Services

Information by Research Trustfinance

Wells Fargo Insurance Services (WFIS) was a major global insurance brokerage and a subsidiary of Wells Fargo & Company. It provided a wide range of insurance products and services, including property and casualty, employee benefits, private risk management, and specialized risk services to businesses and individuals. Historically one of the largest insurance brokers in the world, the division was part of Wells Fargo's strategy to offer a diversified suite of financial products. In a move to divest non-core assets and simplify its business, Wells Fargo announced the sale of WFIS to USI Insurance Services, a leading U.S.-based insurance brokerage, in 2017. The operations, employees, and client relationships were subsequently integrated into USI.
