The Workers’ Compensation Insurance Rating Bureau of California (WCIRB) is a private, nonprofit association of insurance companies authorized to transact workers' compensation insurance in California. The WCIRB is a licensed rating organization of the California Department of Insurance (CDI) and is the designated statistical agent for the CDI. Its mission is to be California’s trusted, objective provider of actuarially-based information and research, advisory pure premium rates, and educational services integral to a healthy workers’ compensation system.
