Founded in 1936 by employees of the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP), Water and Power Community Credit Union (WPCCU) is a not-for-profit financial institution dedicated to the financial well-being of its members. As a credit union, it is owned and operated by its members, with a mission to provide better rates, lower fees, and personalized service compared to traditional banks.
