Waarborgfonds Saneringskredieten
Information by Research TrustFinance
Stichting Waarborgfonds Saneringskredieten (WSK) is a non-profit foundation established in 1994 by the Association of Dutch Municipalities (VNG) and the Association for Debt Counseling and Social Banking (NVVK). The fund's primary mission is to facilitate debt resolution for individuals with problematic debts. It achieves this by providing guarantees on "saneringskredieten" (restructuring loans) issued by affiliated municipalities and social credit banks. This guarantee mitigates the risk for lenders, making it possible to provide credit to individuals who would otherwise not qualify, thereby helping them achieve a debt-free future.
