Vimo Pay, developed by Vimo Technology Joint Stock Company, was one of Vietnam's pioneering mobile wallet applications, launching in 2014. The platform facilitates electronic payments, including P2P transfers, bill payments, and QR code payments at a wide network of merchants. In 2019, Vimo merged with the mPOS.vn Technology Joint Stock Company to form NextPay, a comprehensive digital transformation and payment platform for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Vietnam. While the Vimo e-wallet brand continues to exist, it is now an integral part of the broader service suite offered by NextPay.
