Founded in 1905, Van Gilder Insurance Corporation grew to become one of the largest privately-owned, independent insurance brokerage firms in the Rocky Mountain region of the United States. The company provided a comprehensive range of services including commercial property and casualty insurance, employee benefits, and personal risk management for businesses and individuals. In 2014, Van Gilder was acquired by USI Insurance Services, a national insurance brokerage and consulting firm, and its operations have since been integrated into the USI brand.
