UvA Ventures Holding B.V. was established to bridge the gap between academic research and the commercial market by stimulating knowledge-intensive entrepreneurship. Its mission is to invest in and support early-stage companies (pre-seed, seed, and Series A) that originate from the scientific research conducted at the University of Amsterdam and the Amsterdam UMC. Beyond providing capital, the firm offers active management support, access to an extensive network of experts and investors, and strategic guidance to help its portfolio companies grow and succeed.
