The USAID Financial Sector Reform Activity (FSR) was a four-year, $23 million project in Ukraine running from October 2018 to September 2022. Implemented by Development Alternatives, Inc. (DAI), its primary mission was to support Ukraine's financial sector transformation by improving regulation and supervision, expanding access to finance, and promoting financial inclusion and consumer protection. The project provided technical assistance to the National Bank of Ukraine, the National Securities and Stock Market Commission, and other key government and private sector stakeholders to align Ukraine's financial laws and practices with EU standards and strengthen the country's overall financial stability.
