Founded to bridge the gap between students and the alternative investments industry, the UNSW Alternative Investment Society (AIS) is the first and largest student society in Australia exclusively focused on this sector. Its mission is to equip students with the technical knowledge, practical skills, and networking opportunities necessary for careers in areas such as private equity, venture capital, hedge funds, and real assets. The society achieves this through educational workshops, case competitions, industry seminars, and networking events with leading financial firms.
