Unslashed Finance was a decentralized insurance platform built on the Ethereum blockchain, designed to protect users' crypto assets from common risks. Its mission was to provide a robust and transparent insurance alternative for the DeFi space, covering events such as smart contract exploits, exchange hacks, validator slashing, and stablecoin de-pegging. The protocol operated by creating two distinct user groups: "capital suppliers" who provided liquidity to underwrite insurance policies in exchange for premiums, and "protection buyers" who purchased coverage for their assets. Despite a successful launch and fundraising, the project appears to have ceased active operations and development around July 2022.
