The University of Kent Procurement Team is the central department responsible for all procurement activities across the university. Its mission is to achieve value for money in all non-pay expenditure while ensuring compliance with UK Public Contracts Regulations and the university's own financial procedures. The team supports the university's academic and research objectives by sourcing necessary goods and services ethically and sustainably. The University of Kent itself was founded by Royal Charter in 1965.
