Founded on March 25, 1963, UCPB General Insurance Company, Inc. (UCPB GEN) established itself as a leading non-life insurance provider in the Philippines. For decades, it served as the non-life insurance arm of the United Coconut Planters Bank (UCPB). Following the merger of UCPB with the Land Bank of the Philippines, UCPB GEN was acquired by the Lucio Tan Group and merged with Alliedbankers Insurance Corporation (ABIC) in 2023. The company continues to operate under the Alliedbankers Insurance Corporation name, offering a comprehensive range of non-life insurance products, including Fire, Motor, Marine, Casualty, and Engineering insurance for both individual and corporate clients.
