Tropical Bank Limited is a commercial bank operating in Uganda, licensed and supervised by the Bank of Uganda. Incorporated in 1973, it provides a comprehensive suite of financial services including personal banking (savings, current accounts, loans), business banking (SME and corporate solutions), diaspora banking, and agent banking. The bank's mission is to offer professional and efficient "Friendly Banking for Life". It is jointly owned by the Libyan Arab Foreign Bank (LAFB), which holds a 99.97% stake, and the Government of the Republic of Uganda with the remaining 0.03%.
