Troika Bank
Information by Research Trustfinance
Founded in 1991, Troika Dialog grew to become Russia's largest independent investment bank. It provided a full range of financial services, including securities sales and trading, investment banking, private banking, asset management, and direct investments. In 2012, the company was fully acquired by Sberbank, Russia's largest state-owned bank, and was rebranded and absorbed into its corporate and investment banking arm, now known as Sberbank CIB. The "Troika" name later became infamous due to the "Troika Laundromat" investigation, which uncovered a massive network of shell companies that moved billions of dollars out of Russia.
