TransAct Futures was a technology-focused Futures Commission Merchant (FCM) founded in 1998 and based in Chicago, the hub of futures trading. The company specialized in providing low-latency direct market access (DMA) and proprietary trading technology, primarily through its flagship platform, TransActAT (later known as ActiveTrader). Its mission was to serve active individual traders, professional traders, and institutions with high-performance trading tools, competitive clearing rates, and dedicated customer support. In 2017, TransAct Futures was acquired by and merged its operations with Infinity Futures, another Chicago-based FCM, with the TransAct brand and platform being absorbed into the Infinity offering.
