Founded in 2012 and launched in 2013, TradeHero was a Singapore-based financial technology company that developed a gamified mobile app for stock market simulation. The platform allowed users to trade virtual portfolios using real-world market data, follow and copy the trades of successful users (termed "Heroes"), and compete for cash prizes. Its mission was to democratize trading by providing a risk-free educational environment. The company was acquired by social trading broker Ayondo in 2017, and its services were subsequently integrated and then shut down.
