Tracer DAO was a Decentralized Autonomous Organization focused on building open-source, smart contract-based financial infrastructure for the decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystem. Its flagship product, Perpetual Pools, allowed users to gain leveraged exposure to the price of any asset without the risk of liquidation. In mid-2022, the Tracer DAO team and protocol merged with Mycelium (formerly Contango), a decentralized derivatives trading platform, to combine their expertise and expand their product offerings under the new "Mycelium" brand. The original Tracer protocol continues to operate but is now part of the broader Mycelium ecosystem.
