Established in 1989 as the Tokyo International Financial Futures Exchange (TIFFE), the company was demutualized and incorporated in 2004, changing its name to Tokyo Financial Exchange Inc. (TFX). Its mission is to contribute to the sound development of Japan's financial markets by providing highly reliable, convenient, and transparent market infrastructure. TFX operates markets for a range of financial derivatives, including its flagship Euroyen 3-month interest rate futures, as well as exchange-traded FX margin contracts ("Click 365") and equity index daily futures ("Click Kabu 365").
