TKS Finance Limited was incorporated in 2011 and operated as a licensed finance company under Sri Lanka's Finance Business Act. The company provided a range of financial services to individuals and businesses, including savings and fixed deposits, vehicle leasing, and various loan products. After facing severe financial difficulties and failing to meet the regulatory capital adequacy requirements, its operations were suspended and ultimately its license was cancelled by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka in 2019, leading to liquidation proceedings to protect the interests of its depositors.
