The Small Exchange
Information by Research Trustfinance
Founded in 2019, The Small Exchange, Inc. was a U.S. futures exchange regulated by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) as a Designated Contract Market (DCM). Its mission was to democratize access to the futures market by offering standardized, capital-efficient products with smaller notional sizes across various asset classes, including equities, metals, energy, and currencies. In October 2021, Cboe Global Markets completed its acquisition of The Small Exchange, integrating its products into the Cboe ecosystem to expand access to a broader base of market participants.
