Founded in 1998 in Kinston, North Carolina, The Little Bank, Incorporated was a community-focused financial institution dedicated to serving the banking needs of individuals and businesses in Eastern North Carolina. The bank offered a comprehensive suite of services, including personal and business checking/savings accounts, mortgages, commercial loans, and wealth management. It grew to operate multiple branches across the region before being acquired by First-Citizens Bank & Trust Company in a deal that was completed in early 2018, at which point its operations and branches were integrated into the First Citizens brand.
