The Clearing Corporation (TCC) is a U.S. futures clearinghouse that provides central counterparty (CCP) clearing and settlement services for futures and options on futures contracts. Originally founded in 1925 as the Board of Trade Clearing Corporation, it has a long history of serving the derivatives markets. As a wholly owned subsidiary of Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (NYSE: ICE), TCC's primary mission is to ensure the integrity of the markets it serves by acting as the buyer to every seller and the seller to every buyer, mitigating counterparty credit risk for all participants.
