Originally founded as TelePayroll, Inc., the company was a regional provider of payroll processing and human resources services. In January 2017, it was acquired by Asure Software (NASDAQ: ASUR), a leading provider of cloud-based Human Capital Management (HCM) software. TelePayroll's operations and clients have since been integrated into Asure's platform, which offers a comprehensive suite of tools for small and mid-sized businesses, including payroll and tax, human resources, time and attendance, and benefits administration. The acquisition was part of Asure's strategy to expand its market presence and service offerings.
