Syncier GmbH was established in 2018 as a joint venture and subsidiary of Allianz SE. The company's mission was to create and operate the "Syncier Marketplace," a B2B platform designed to provide insurance companies with easy access to a curated portfolio of digital, ready-to-use software solutions and services. These offerings included process automation, AI-based claims handling, and other InsurTech solutions. However, in late 2022, Allianz decided to cease funding and wind down Syncier's business operations, integrating key assets and personnel back into the Allianz Group.
