The Surrey Pension Team administers the Surrey Pension Fund on behalf of Surrey County Council, which is the legally designated Administering Authority. The fund is part of the national Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) for England and Wales. Its mission is to manage the pension contributions of over 300 employers and provide pension benefits to more than 100,000 members, including active employees, deferred members, and pensioners from various public sector and related organizations within the Surrey area.
