STAR (Standards for Transfers, Administration and Re-registration) is a cross-industry initiative dedicated to improving the customer experience of transferring assets like ISAs, pensions, and other investments. Managed by the not-for-profit company Criterion, STAR brings together financial institutions to agree on and adhere to a common set of standards and service level agreements. The mission is to make the entire transfer process faster, more efficient, and more transparent for consumers by reducing delays and providing clear communication throughout the journey.
