St Albans and District Credit Union Limited was a member-owned, not-for-profit financial cooperative established to serve individuals living or working in the St Albans district. Its mission was to provide ethical and affordable financial services, including savings accounts and personal loans, promoting financial well-being within the local community. In 2020, to create a stronger, more resilient entity with a wider reach, it merged with Hertsaviers Credit Union. All operations, members, and services are now fully integrated into Hertsavers Credit Union, which continues the mission of serving the wider Hertfordshire community.
